Notes and observations:
An impressive full cross. In very good condition. The centre shaft was tapered width at the top approx. 55 mm to 35 mm at the bottom which was pointed at the bottom to allow the cross to be pushed into the ground. There was a demarcation line approx 25mm were the shaft was staked into the ground at one time. Both the top part of the centre shaft and the cross shaft ends both had plain chamfered edge detail on all 4 sides.
