Sarah Crossland of the National Churches Trust today pointed me to your website after I contacted her about one of my great uncles. He does already appear on your website but she and I thought you might like a bit more information. My great-grandfather was Vicar there for many years, including all the years of WW1. He had 7 sons and 2 daughters; one son became my father’s father; but two of the sons (my great uncles) were killed in WW1; they are both remembered in the church (see brass picture in gallery) but one has a battlefield cross too (another picture).
